Cookies and Browser Storage at Launch

Check the notice and clear the active worksheet with Reset.

Contained beat markers representing an observation that is not persistently stored.

This BPMFinderYouTube.xyz cookies notice is effective August 29, 2026. The launch experience is designed to calculate entirely in active page memory. BPMFinderYouTube.xyz does not require an application cookie to accept timestamps, convert boundaries to intervals, apply a playback-speed factor, compare prepared readings, or copy an observation card.

The same no-persistence design applies to common browser storage mechanisms. The launch specification does not use localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, a service-worker cache for user values, or an account record to preserve worksheet inputs or results. Reset clears current fields. Reloading or closing the tab ends the defined page state. Browser clipboard history and general browser recovery features are controlled by the visitor’s software rather than this application.

A worked storage example

Suppose a visitor enters start 00:40, end 01:00, 41 boundaries, speed 1×, meter 4, and label “window B.” The page calculates 40 intervals and 120 BPM. During the session, JavaScript holds those values so the result can be displayed. The product does not encode them in a cookie, append them to the URL, write them to localStorage, or send them to an analytics event.

Selecting Reset removes the form and result from active page state. Returning tomorrow does not restore “window B.” If the visitor chooses Copy, the browser may place the card on a device clipboard. Clipboard persistence depends on device and browser settings and is not a site cookie. Saving the copied text elsewhere is an action controlled by the visitor.

Cookies, local storage, and memory are different

A cookie is a small value that a browser can attach to later HTTP requests for a matching site. localStorage and IndexedDB can keep data on the device across sessions without attaching it to every request. sessionStorage generally lasts for a tab session. Active JavaScript memory is temporary state used while the page is open. The launch calculators use only that last category for observation inputs.

This distinction matters because saying “no cookies” alone would not explain whether a tool silently saved work elsewhere. The product contract excludes all listed persistent application stores. It also excludes accounts, cloud workspaces, databases, and saved song histories. A visitor who needs a record must deliberately copy it to a location under their control.

Ordinary hosting and browser behavior

Vercel hosts the site. Web delivery involves network requests and may use provider security, caching, or delivery mechanisms at the infrastructure layer. This notice concerns site-authored cookies and storage; provider processing and browser-controlled cache or history remain separate.

Browsers and extensions can also store their own history, form-recovery data, screenshots, clipboard entries, or crash records. Those behaviors are not application storage directed by BPMFinderYouTube.xyz. Visitors using a shared device can use private browsing where appropriate, clear browser history according to their browser documentation, avoid sensitive labels, and close the tab after use.

No analytics or advertising storage at launch

The current service uses no analytics vendor for worksheet values and no advertising system. It does not use tracking pixels, behavioral advertising tags, cross-site identifiers, session-replay tools, or analytics cookies. Route-level hosting logs may still exist as described in the privacy notice, but local controls do not place their values in those requests.

If a later version introduces a genuinely necessary cookie or optional analytics, this notice must change before or when the feature launches. The revision should name the provider, purpose, data fields, duration, first- or third-party status, and available choice. A consent interface should appear where required. A vague statement that “cookies improve experience” would not be sufficient.

Email and linked services follow their own rules

Clicking a support email link can open a mail application. Sending a message uses the sender’s and operator’s email systems, which have separate storage and privacy behavior. The website does not need a cookie to display the address. A visitor should avoid attaching media or private links.

YouTube is a separate third-party service with its own cookies, storage, account, and privacy terms. Watching a video in another tab is outside this application’s storage boundary. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC; BPMFinderYouTube.xyz is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google LLC or YouTube.

Choices available now

Because the launch application does not set an application cookie or persistent store, there is no site preference panel to toggle. A decorative consent banner would imply storage that the product does not use and could make the notice less clear. The appropriate control is the worksheet Reset action, plus browser controls for browser-managed records.

If a visitor observes a deployed cookie that appears to come from this domain, they can report its exact name, domain, path, expiry, SameSite value, and the route where it appeared. That evidence lets the operator distinguish application behavior, hosting infrastructure, and an extension.

Frequently asked questions

Will my BPM card return after I close the tab?

No. Persistent application history is not part of the launch product. Copy a card yourself if you want to keep it.

Does Reset clear a browser’s general history?

No. Reset clears the site’s active worksheet state, not browser history, clipboard history, or extension data.

No. It is a browser-mediated copy to the device clipboard. The site does not receive or persist the copied card.

Could this notice change?

Yes. A later storage feature would require updated disclosure, dates, and any legally required choices before it is enabled.

Finish with a clean worksheet

Use a non-sensitive local label, copy only what you intend to keep, and select Reset when finished. The current response and browser storage panel should match this no-persistence notice; report a conflicting site-set cookie or restored worksheet to support.
